Required Child Care Application and Fee Information

JOIN THE WAITLIST FOR THE 2025-26 SCHOOL YEAR by completing the Contact Us form.

To enroll your child at Ballancrest Academy in Charlotte, North Carolina, please complete our child care application and pay the required registration fee. We offer pre-registration for our age-specific classrooms. If a spot is unavailable, we place applicants on a waitlist until space becomes available. An annual curriculum fee of $185 per family is due each August. Please contact us to obtain the necessary documents for enrollment, including the application form.

Pre-Registration

  • Infant Room: Families can pre-register up to six months in advance by submitting an enrollment application and paying the $185 child/$350 multiple children registration fee.

  • Other Rooms: Pre-registration for all other classrooms is available three months in advance. A completed application and payment of the registration fee are required. Registration is confirmed only if space is available.

Waitlist

If a spot is unavailable in a classroom, families can be placed on the waitlist by submitting an application and paying a $100 waitlist fee. Once a space becomes available, families on the waitlist will be contacted. When the space is secured, the registration fee (minus the waitlist fee) is due.

Class Sizes

To ensure personalized attention, we maintain small class sizes and provide each classroom with a full-time Lead Teacher and at least one full-time Assistant Teacher. All of our teachers undergo comprehensive background checks, are certified in First Aid and CPR, and complete the required NC Health & Safety Training. Teachers who work with children aged 18 months and younger are also ITS-SIDS trained. We ensure the lowest staff-to-child ratios, as follows:

  • Infants: 1:5

  • Toddlers: 1:6

  • Twos: 1:9

  • Threes: 1:10

  • Fours: 1:13

  • Fives: 1:13
