Required Child Care Application and Explanation Of Fees

Enroll your child in Ballancrest Academy located in Charlotte, North Carolina, by completing our child care application and paying the required registration fee. We offer pre-registration for our different age-focused classrooms. If a spot is not available, we put interested applicants on a waitlist until the room becomes available. An annual curriculum fee of $185/family is due in August. Please contact us to acquire the required documents needed for enrollment.

Pre-Registration

Families may pre-register for the infant room up to six months in advance by completing and submitting an enrollment application, as well as paying the $185 child/$350 multiple children registration fee. Pre-registration for all other rooms is three months in advance with the submission of a complete application and payment of the registration fee. Registration is only accepted if space is coming available.

Waitlist

If a space in a room is unavailable, families may secure a spot on the waitlist by completing an application and paying the $100 waitlist fee. Children on the waitlist will be contacted if a space becomes available. The registration fee, minus the waitlist fee, is due at the time the space is secured.

Class Sizes

In order to provide personalized attention, we keep our class sizes small. Each classroom is staffed with a full-time Lead Teacher and at least one full-time assistant. All teachers undergo an extensive background check, are certified in First Aid and CPR, as well as the required NC Health & Safety Training. Teachers who work with children aged 18 months and younger are ITS-SIDS trained. We maintain the lowest staff:child ratios, which are as follows:

• Infants - 1:5 • Toddlers - 1:6 • Twos - 1:9
• Threes - 1:10 • Fours - 1:13 • Fives - 1:13
